Of course, I should have included, Cockatiel-friendly Collecutts! These chappies rock up @ feeding time which is pretty much morning noon & evening to feast on crusts & crackers. Really close too...this one is perched on the balcony rail about a metre away. Made a heck of noise.
Fascinating to watch them manipulate food with their claw/hand...
Next visitors & regular ones at that. These parrots are probably our faves with their fantastic colouring. They come right up to the mesh screen door & peer inside as if to say,'I'm Polly & this is my mate Pete, where's the crackers?!'
OK, crusts will do...
Devon aka 'The Mop', in the Circle Of Doom, as the kids like to say...
and doing what kids do best...(in the Rope Park, as it's commonly known. 10 mins walk approx up the road)
Ella up the Pyramid. She's an ace climber. Really strong & agile.
as you can see...a couple of boys around the same age came along & were well impressed (not that they showed that of course, instead they had a good go themselves but only got up as high as Ella, which was about 5 metres)
Then of course we had to train into the SYD CBD to play tourist before catching up with Pip, Rich & Dr Rich (Pip's man) in the evening.
A hard Autumn day in the Antipodes...just before a Copenhagen icecream...double scoop!
A week later & it's dins @ the infamous 'Bull & Bush'...great Aussie pub a few mins walk away.
About 6pm & before we headed off to 'Wagamamas' for dins. The CBD was jumping socially...esp as it was Maunday Thursday...heading into the Easter holiday weekend!
And there we are, 2 out of the 3 Rich's, a Pip & a Pen...
One of Ella's many creations...She 'surfs' between technology, art & crafting...a happy, lovely young lady. (12yrs in May)
So it's cheerio from him & cheerio from her...(on one of the balconies) on a fairly typical Autumnal day in the beautiful, balmy Baulkham Hills. 'Til next visit...
