Oman

Well we got here OK
We had a relatively OK flight. Our tea was held up for an hour and so was the Videos while turbulence died down. We changed at Dubai and hurried to our Link to Oman for a 1 hour relaxed flight although the staff went hell for leather to get us all fed before we landed.
Once there we found that Penny's small bag had not left Gatwick and finally made it next lunchtime.
Weather here is brilliant but not over-hot. Telling everyone of courdse it will be different weather. We're here. The sea automatically got colder. everyone says cool weather and sea has never been so cold (similar to the Solent last week!) temp is however 33 deg but lovely in evening. We go to the PDO complex with beachfront, lovely 25m pool and diner a couple of times a day. Pics of complex and local scenery to come
Went out for lunch and had superb buffet and dessert to die for for equivalent of 3 pounds each.
Went to the local mosque for a lookaround. really amazingly ornate despite only built 10 yrs ago. Pics later.
We're going to barbie tonight and haul off in a few mins, so keep well everyone while we roll off in our aircon Toyota landcruiser.
