Now we have a new phenomenon up at Lawty Towers. Yes it's M, the Magnificent Magpie! He is a fine specimen and swoops down to our garden from the big macrocarpa trees just inside the park where he lives. He makes a wonderful "toodleoodleoodle" first thing in the morning. Sometimes he comes with his girlfriend but he enjoys his daily struts up and down examining the garden.
Quite recently he's taken up challenging his reflection in the glass windows which come down to deck height. Seeing this wonderful reflective foe he takes full lunges at it going "donk" on the glass with his beak....vis...
